Chapter 133

As Ato was facing the giant sword and waiting for death, a black demonic claw swatted the giant sword away.

"Galactic Power, I've remembered you," Morgana's intimidating voice reached Galen's ears.

"Pfft, trying to scare me?" Galen sneered at Morgana's words.

As if I'm not going to deal with you unless you start trouble with us.

By the time Morgana had swatted the giant sword away, Ato had already disappeared through a wormhole.

"Queen, I'm sorry, I failed?" Ato approached Morgana with a lowered head, feeling somewhat ashamed.

It was truly embarrassing to be defeated by a second-generation super warrior who had only been awakened for half a year. Even if that person would one day become a supreme deity, Ato still felt humiliated.

"It's okay, you're alive, Ato. You've all just been revived, and your strength hasn't reached its peak yet. I'm not in a hurry," Morgana reassured him.

Morgana still valued Ato greatly; he had been with her for so long and was an old hand in Kunsha. She couldn't afford to lose him so easily.

After speaking, Morgana returned to the command hall to watch the battle between Sauron and Liu Chuang.

As for Galen, after seeing Liu Chuang dealing with the ground troops, he went to support Yunshan.

After all, Donghong 49 was in Yunshan. If the demons really took it, it would be a huge problem!

Inside the Demon Castle, Morgana, observing the battlefield, saw Galen flying away and quickly reminded Athe.

"Athe, Galactic Power is heading towards Yunshan. Prepare for countermeasures over there."

Athe was already having a tough time, and hearing Morgana's words nearly caused him to fall from the sky.

"Queen, I request to retreat and devise a new plan. We're too passive here," Athe said, observing the flying power armor and feeling helpless. The enemy's defense was impenetrable, and he had to avoid the armor's wrist blades. Otherwise, the second-generation warriors' bodies could be seriously injured, or even cut in half.

Athe's only consolation was that while the enemy's weapons were sharp, they didn't suppress super genes, so his small demons could still be rescued.

"Retreat, don't even think about it. I'll open a tactical wormhole for you. Bring one in for me to deal with. I'll handle it myself. If we give up halfway, Ato's injuries will be in vain," Morgana said firmly.

Morgana was determined. Her subordinates could be resurrected infinitely as long as their genetic engines weren't destroyed by the God-Killing Weapon. Her demon army could keep reviving.

"But what about the agreement with the Earth's main deity?" Athe asked.

"Who cares? Their mech came into my territory. Am I supposed to just stand by?" Morgana said with a scolding laugh, feeling quite clever for coming up with such a good idea.

"Alright, Queen. I'll execute it immediately. Please be ready to open the wormhole," Athe said, then notified the small demons of the new tactical arrangement.

Because the situation was urgent, all the power armors were controlled by the Sky Net, without much tactical coordination. The strategy was simply to attack any demon seen and chase them down. After all, they had targeted the power armors.

"Abang, bring the 47th power armor following you over here. We'll drag it into the wormhole together," Athe instructed while observing the situation from the air. Abang was in the perfect position, and with only one 47th armor following him, it was like a gift from the heavens. Athe was eager to receive it.

"Understood, Captain. Please coordinate with the Demon Castle," Abang replied, making a sharp turn in mid-air, avoiding the approaching power armor and flying towards Athe.

The 47th armor, left behind by Abang, didn't know the meaning of giving up. It followed Abang's route and accelerated to a terrifying Mach 7, with sonic booms constantly reaching the ears of the demons and soldiers on the ground.

This was the maximum speed achievable by this generation of power armor, but only in unmanned mode. If piloted, the armor could not reach such speeds due to shock absorption issues, as even with overload protection suits, the human body couldn't withstand Mach 7 speed.

"Damn, so fast," Abang looked back and nearly panicked. Although he had seen faster enemies, he had never had an enemy that would slam into him at such speed.

Seeing the 47th armor about to collide with him, Abang reacted quickly, adjusting his position in mid-air to evade the armor's pursuit.

This was the difference; machines were never as agile as the human body. Even though the Sky Net had predicted Abang's evasion path, it couldn't make the armor change direction quickly.

"Queen, how is the wormhole preparation? Can it be opened?" Athe asked Morgana, seeing Abang in danger.

"It can be opened. Tell Abang to fly straight, and I'll open the wormhole along his flight path," Morgana replied, feeling anxious. Her old subordinates were being cut down below. Although they could be revived, it required a massive amount of resources.

Having had her old subordinates blown up by Zhang Zheng before, Morgana did not want them to die again.

"Abang, did you hear the Queen's orders?"

"Understood, implementing the plan immediately," Abang said, deliberately slowing down and waiting for the armor to catch up.

"Queen, open the wormhole."

Seeing the power armor catch up, Abang wasted no time, notified Morgana to open the wormhole, and flew in. When the armor charged up, it was unable to avoid the wormhole and followed him in.

Athe saw the plan succeed and wasted no time, directly ordering through the comms: "Withdraw." He had already seen Galen quickly approaching.

Galen watched as the demons escaped through the wormholes and couldn't stop them.

He wasn't like Rose, who could interfere with the wormhole calculations.

Seeing the demons disappearing, Galen landed and approached the highest-ranking middle-aged officer.

"Sir, is Donghong 49 alright?" Galen saluted and asked anxiously.

"No problem, comrade. Are you the only one volunteering?" The officer, relieved that the demons had retreated, was somewhat displeased to see that only Galen from the Iron Blood Squad had come to assist.

"No, sir. I came with my comrades, but we encountered demon snipers on the way. My comrades are currently engaging in a firefight with the snipers. The rest are on the Dawn of Light, on their way here," Galen explained, not wanting to take the blame and make the regular soldiers think the Iron Blood Squad was arrogant.

"Hmm, thank you for your hard work."

"Report, one piece of power armor is missing."

The communications officer approached the officer and saluted.

"I understand, I understand everything," the officer said regretfully.

He had previously been confused about why the enemy, despite their strong mobility, didn't just skip the power armor and directly seize Donghong 49.

Now it was clear; the enemy had targeted the power armor from the start, and their inertia had misled them into thinking the enemy aimed to steal Donghong 49.

"Sir, what should we do?" the communications officer asked.

"Report truthfully to the military. I'll take responsibility for the lost armor." Despite his regret, the officer, being a principled soldier, wouldn't shirk responsibility.

Knowing the truth, Galen didn't rush to leave but went out again to bring Liu Chuang back.

Seeing Liu Chuang, Galen was so scared he didn't dare approach; Liu Chuang's face looked too bad.

There was no way around it—playing whack-a-mole was frustrating.
