Evelyn’s POV
The principal's office felt unusually cold as I sat before the principal and the committee members. The silence in the room was thick, filled with the weight of their scrutiny.
"Professor Sebastian, you have given us much to consider regarding Evelyn's admission," the principal said, his voice carrying a tone of deliberation. "Your points hold significant weight, but we must ensure that Thunderclap remains a place of safety and excellence."
Sebastian nodded, his expression serious. "I understand, Principal. Evelyn is one of the most dedicated and resourceful students I've encountered. She has the potential to contribute greatly to our community."
The principal turned his attention to me, his gaze sharp but not unkind. "Miss Evelyn, please wait outside while we deliberate. We will call you back in shortly."
