An Ordinary Complex

"Lisa, are you feeling alright? You are clutching your chest! Does it hurt? Do you want me to help you back to your room? Boss, it looks like Lisa is not feeling well! Shall we call it a day and head back?"

Lisa felt thankful for her mother's interference, and she cheered at the face the boss made.

When the man looked at Lisa, he seemed to think deeply. She was sure he would allow her to return to her room, but then he decided to dash all her hopes by speaking.

"Venissa, Lisa is your daughter, so I am sure she is strong like you. She will not let this small mishap stop her, right? Lisa, can you stand up and walk toward me?"
