I frowned. "That is not the proper way to greet your Queen."

Tatiana hissed, shooting a glare at me.

"Never," she snapped. "Once Vladimir becomes King, I will wear the crown of Queen."

"And I will kill you myself," she said. "I don't think I can wait any longer for that day."

"What did you do to Lucian?" I demanded.

"Make Tristan submit to Vladimir, and I will lift the spell I placed on him," Tatiana said.

My fingers dug into my flesh as I stepped forward. "Shut up."

"Your son," she said. "If you know what is best for you, take him far away from here where I wouldn't be able to reach him. Because once Vladimir is announced King, I will kill anyone of royal blood, not caring how young or old."
