The next morning, Tristan ordered a meeting with the Elders of the pack. It was rumored that some of the Elders had been killed after refusing to serve Vladimir as King. The others were turned into vampires and they fled the pack upon hearing that Tristan and I had reclaimed it.

The few who had hidden in their homes during the vampire attack showed up at the pack house. It wasn't just the Elders—there was a crowd of people present.
