A Successful First Movie Experience

Thane turned to her, his expression concerned.

"I was worried this sort of thing would happen," he said, his voice laced with regret. "It was inconsiderate of me to do this when you haven't fully recovered."

Brooke's eyebrows shot up, confusion etched on her face. "What? No, I never saw it that way," she replied sharply.

Thane's gaze followed hers to the dress she wore, the source of her awkwardness all morning. He sighed, his shoulders sagging in self-reproach. "I should've minded my boundaries, it's my fault. If you aren't comfortable being alone with a guy yet, then you shouldn't hesitate to tell me."

Brooke's expression softened as she reflected on her actions, finally understanding Thane's point. And then, she couldn't help but laugh at his endearing concern.

Thane's ears flushed with embarrassment as he scratched the back of his neck. "Did I say something funny?" he asked, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
