William frowned deeply when his cousin arrived, he more so couldn't hide the disdain in his eyes when Thane said something to contradict his suggestion.

"Thane, you're not making any sense. How can you accuse us of bullying your brother?" Amanda asked, forcing a smile. "We only came here to avenge our daughter."

But Thane ignored everyone else, he turned to Matthew, "Come with me." Then to Mallory he gave the same order, asking to speak to them both in private.

Vance tried to intervene, "Where are you taking my cousin to?" He asked, holding Mallory back by the wrist. "If you're going to say anything, say it in front of us." He insisted.

Edward seconded the idea, "The girl has been through so much already, what is there to hide? Matthew made a mistake, and he should pay the price."
