"Shying away from your wifely duties, little wife?" He questioned in a husky voice, lowering his face to hers.

Ariel quickly turned her head away, "No, Mr. Chaz, you're misunderstanding me again," She voiced quietly.

Aiden scoffed, not believing her. He looked down at his chest and found her slim hand still placed against it.

"You're quite corny, Ariel. Saying you don't want me, yet you're hands are all over me," Aiden whispered in her ear.

Jewel gently slid the door open and motioned Ariel to enter, "Go in my lady," he smiled at her.

Ariel nodded, "Thanks, Jewel, I'll see you after the meeting," She replied and walked into the office.

"Lame assistant," Jewel muttered to himself when Gideon followed Ariel inside; he knew Gideon heard, and he was satisfied he did.

Inside the office, Ariel's nerves were all over the place as she used her peripheral vision to see Adien sitting at the head of the table, she could feel the eyes of the three men on her.

"Good morning, Ms. Ariel," Ken stood and greeted her, going over to Aiden's side to draw out a chair for her.

However, she simply responded with a "Good morning, gentlemen," her heart pounding heavily with every step she took closer to the table; she went over to the side and settled down where no one was sitting. She eyed the space beside Aiden and looked away.
