As Aiden walked out of his father's house, he now understood how Ariel had come to be his father's daughter.

He stood in front of his father's house, leaning against his car and thinking deeply about everything.

He now knew how they met, and it was the most heartbreaking feeling for him. His wife was almost dead, suffering, and alone, and instead of trying his best to look for her, he rather spent his time gating her.

He was a failure, as a father and as a husband, he failed Ariel. Now he understood why she hated him now, he abandoned her in her time of need.

The information he got made his decision stronger; he had to find out who made Ariel go through such pain. She almost lost their baby, but she grew for him; she thrived to keep him alive, and she did.

She was stronger than he thought, and he had been so wrong to compare her to his mother; it was so, so wrong of him.
