Eva had a white bathrobe on, a cup of coffee in her hands, and was slowly walking back and forth in her living room when she heard a knock on her door.
She paused and frowned; she never had visitors. Never.
Who could it be at the door?
For a second, she got scared. What if it were Hugo? Or some other men Moon had sent to kill her.
Her hands were shaking, and she quickly thought of Gregory; what a serious mistake of not having his number; who was she supposed to call now?
Calling Ariel would just be stupid; that would be endangering her, too; she didn't want to do that.
She took a deep breath and started walking toward her door.
The knock came again, causing her heart to skip a beat. She slowly raised her hand to the door and gulped quietly before she opened it and peeked her face out.
Eva gasped when she saw the person on the other side of the door, it was the last person she ever thought she'd see in front of her house.
