Chapter 23- Delayed

TIECIA AND Tedric wore a worried look, as they had noticed Luella had not been herself all morning till late afternoon. The workload had barely been reduced. 

"My Lady, you would ruin the nibs of the fountain pen." Tiecia warned. 

Luella pulled from her conflicting thoughts. Her eyes trailed over to her fountain pen. She had scratched, tapped and scrapped her pen over the surface of her desk, spoiling it more.

She sighed and continued with her work, without acknowledging what Tiecia had said. It didn't take long before the sun slowly set, and the bright day dawn turned into the evening dusk, night. 

With anger, Luella slammed her fountain pen aggressively on the table and cursed under her breath.
