IT WAS late in the morning; the sun was out in all its glory. Luella groaned as she stirred herself to consciousness. She squeezed her eyes and tried to get the sleep off her eyes. 

Her throat was parched and scratchy. "Tiecia, get me water," She uttered, her voice sounded dry and hoarse like she had never spoken before, and it was her first time of doing so. 

A cup was slammed by her head, the sound sent a sharp ache into her brain, giving her a mild throbbing sensation in her head.

Feeling annoyed, she weakly tried to get up with no help from the present maid. "Tiecia, what is wrong with you today?" She asked, rubbing her temple to soothe the pain.

"I am not Tiecia," a voice replied rudely. They hadn't even addressed her by her title.
