ARCHIBALD BARELY acknowledged their greetings. His red scanned the room, as though searching for someone. But rather he was counting to see if anyone had left. After all, since they had the effrontery to go against his previous orders, this one was a mere excuse for them.

He caught sights of the whisper binds that also knelt at his presence.

Suddenly a realization dawned on him. They had probably wanted to leave and Edric had to summon his whisper binds, to force them to remain there.

Classic idiots.

Slowly, Archibald shifted from a light smile on his lips to a low chuckle then to a terrorizing laughter.

His laugh sent shivers down their spine. They waned to leave, they didn't want to be around him while he was angry.
