LUELLA SHUT the last book she was expected to read. That was it to be honest. All she did was read them… with little practice. How exactly could she practice with the distractions from yesterday and the present day.

It was night. And everyone had retired back to bed. Tomorrow, Louisa would start her class.

She had already told Margaret to overwork her, and to give her very little time to work on her magic and also herself. She could only ask this from the Margaret and not Rafferty. Rafferty was self-righteous and would question literally everything and everything. 

Margaret, on the other hand, was different. 

With the simple reason she gave, which was, 'Louisa said she wanted to be better than me'
