Klaus left the room with a blissful expression. He was happy with his gains and so, he planned on spending the next few days with his ladies and moon before entering seclusion to review his memories.
However, the moment he stepped out, he found Kathy standing in the hallway, probably waiting for him.
"Tell me you haven't been standing there for hours," Klaus said, but Kathy only smiled guiltily. It was clear she had been standing there for a while.
"Unbelievable." Klaus said shaking his head. "But to what do I owe this visit that required you to wait for me for hours?" Klaus asked, and Kathy went down on one knee.
"Thank you for giving me your blood. I am truly grateful," she said, prompting Klaus to quickly move toward her and lift her to her feet. He brushed a few strands of hair from her face and stared at her.
