Changes Coming [End of Volume 3]

"Klaus, baby, are you happy?" Klaus's mom asked, combing his hair. He laid his head on her lap as they watched the sunset.

"Are you kidding me? I am happy... very happy." Klaus didn't even hesitate to answer her. His mom smiled upon hearing his response.

"How about you, Mom? Are you happy?" Klaus asked. He knew she was checking to see if he still thought they wouldn't make it past the night.

Back in the slums, anything can happen at any time. Sometimes, Klaus just wondered why nobody ever bothered them in such a dangerous place.

"I am. I have you and all your ladies, so I am happy," she replied.

They had come a long way. From the slums, they were now having the best time of their lives. Klaus had more than ten women in his life, and probably, they wouldn't be the only ones.

His mom also had more people to spend time with, so she wasn't sad in any way.
