After reincarnating multiple times over several centuries, Klaus has finally returned 50 years into the apocalypse that descended on Earth, bringing with it the infamous spiritual Qi.

He is a paragon, a being so powerful that the heavens want nothing more than to kill him. He doesn’t play by the rules, and he most certainly doesn’t care what the heavens think.

He just wanted to live his life, make money, and keep a smile on his mother’s face. However, when memories of his past incarnations began to resurface, he was forced to resume the life of a paragon once more.

The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Nia and Lucy started their battle again, only this time, Lucy was paying attention to Nia's shadow. This caused Klaus to smile slightly, wondering just how Lucy would manage this time around.

He then focused his attention on the battle between Hanna and her beast companion, Kathy.

Kathy was simply walking while Hanna tried to defeat her using her arrows. One had to say that Kathy was just playing with her, as despite the numerous arrows she fired, none were able to harm her.

"This is really a bad idea," Hanna said. "You are too monstrous, Kathy," she added, making the Divine Beast smile at her words.

"You wanted to see what it's like to fight an Ascendant, so I am making it happen," Kathy said as she moved aside, evading a lightning bolt.

"Maybe I should break through first before I can handle you," Hanna said, giving herself an excuse. But she knew deep down that until she and Kathy were on the same level, the idea of defeating her was zero.
