Glass
breaks behind me. I gasped. "Are you okay Noorah?" I worried.
"Alicia,
who sent you that text?" Noorah asks. "Oh this, it's nothing." I laugh.
"Alicia, I'm sorry but my mom knows you ran away from home, so she doesn't want
you to stay," Noorah says. "But Noorah! Please can you hide me!" I beg. "I'm
sorry my mom knows." she apologizes. Noorah drives me back to my house. "Again,
I'm sorry." She apologizes once again. "No, its alri-" I get interrupted by
Noorah driving her car as quickly as possible. I sigh. "Alicia!" Seth yells.
"Ugh I don't want to hear it!" I yelled back. "I'm not going to scold you,
Alicia! Sethy and Maevy are gone from the rent house!" He yells. "Sethy and Maevy?"
I questioned. "Remember, we named them to tell them apart from me and Maeve!"
He reminds me. "Thats so lame!" I complain. "That doesn't matter right now!"
Seth yells. "What matters is we can't find them!" Seth continues to yell. "I'm
sure we'll find them." I calmed him down. "I received a text message when I was
at Noorah's house. Here look. I should block him, right?" I ask. "Hey....Alicia.
Give me this person's number." Seth demands. "By any chance, do you know who
captain 5 is?" I ask. "Yeah, I do" Seth answers. "Very well actually." Seth
claims. He rushes off somewhere in a hurry. While I was getting ready for
school Noorah told me to meet her somewhere. So, I headed to that place. It was
a parking lot. Noorah arrived. "Hey Alicia." Noorah greeted; I greeted back.
"Sorry to invite you here right before school. I just wanted to know about the
text message you got last night." I could see Noorah stuttering while saying
that. "Oh, that's why you called me here? Well, it was nothing, just spam." I
responded. "There is no way it was just spam. I know who captain 5 is." Noorah
claimed. "You do...?" I questioned; Even I didn't know who it was. My eyes caught
something blinking in Noorah's coat. My brother works in the police. I could
instantly tell what it was. I suddenly ran and reached for her pocket. I hit
her pocket, and it went flying. "Hey!" She shouted. That's rude!" Noorah
yelled. "You know what's rude? You recording me!" I yelled back. "Why do you
have that recording device? Are you planning to give these recordings to
someone? No wonder you're from the East!" I shouted. "What? Why...would you say
that.?" She teared up. "I'm the victim why are you crying?" I questioned. "Were
you reporting stuff to someone? Is that why you became friends with me? I can't
believe you! I Yelled "I thought we were friends!".
