hours before "That day".

Seth

runs to find Maeve. Seth enters the parking lot. "Maeve. I know what you know."

Seth claims. "Seth, you know you've been weird these past days," Maeve says. "Maeve,

I beg of you. Please tell me the location" Seth begs. Maeve doesn't listen. Seth

took out a picture of the last letter and showed it to him. "So, he was right.

You also read the letters from the future. You ruined everything." Maeve says

something unusual. "What are you saying...? Who's "he"?" Seth asked. Maeve

sighs. "Even if I tell you the location, the bomb is already ticking. So, in

conclusion, there is no use." Maeve says. "Maeve, why would you do such a

thing? I didn't want to believe this." Seth asks. "The location of the bomb is at

silo sector A17," Maeve says. "You got to be kidding. So, you do know!" Seth

yells. "Seth let's say goodbye here, I don't want to be involved with you

anymore," Maeve says. "Man, we were friends. I've known you for a long time.

Why you got to do me like that?" Seth says with a sad tone. "I have nothing

against you-" Maeve gets interrupted by a gunshot. Seth was shocked. There was

blood splattered all over Seth. Maeve falls to the ground because he got shot.

A person in formal attire walks closer. Seth runs to Maeve. "Maeve!" Seth

screams. Seth holds Maeve and slowly looks up. The person who shot Maeve was

none other than Liam Livingstone. His father. "Mr....Livingstone...? Why would

you shoot your son?!" Seth yells. "I read the letter. I know what he does."

Liam says. "Yes!! We know he bombs everyone, but we were going to deal with

him!!" Seth shouts. "I don't care if he bombs everyone. I killed him because he

will kill me in the future." Liam explains. "What? That's why you killed your

son?" Seth questions. "Maeve, you and your mother are the same. That's why I

killed her." Liam Livingstone says. "Why...Why did you... kill her? Maeve

asks. "Do I need a reason?" Liam Livingstone asks. "Liam Livingstone, drop your

weapon. You are under arrest for murder." Seth says. Liam gasps and turns

around to a bunch of police standing behind him. "Liam Livingstone drop your

weapon!" The policeman demands. "I guess I have no choice." Liam Livingstone

drops his weapon and gives himself in because he is left with no choice.

"You...can't, stop the nuclear...bomb," Maeve says his final words. Seth thinks

to himself 'Why did it have to be Maeve?' "Goodbye, Maeve." Seth says his final

goodbye to Maeve and calls "Eagle 3-1". "Hey! I found out the location!

It's at a silo sector A17!" Seth tells him the location and hurries up to find Dad.

"Dad! Are you ready? We've found the location!" Seth asks. "I am ready," Dad

says. "Wow, I'm impressed, Seth. You already prepared your dad for this." Eagle

3-1 says. "Hey, Eagle 3-1. If Maeve is dead, we have no threat now do we?" Seth

asks. "You didn't know...? We still have one more threat. Didn't Alicia tell

you in the letter?" Eagle 3-1 asks. "We have one more threat?!" Seth yells.

"Come on. Think about it. Alicia said that Squad 5 came back in the future but

their captain, Maeve Livingstone never returned. That means He is still in this

timeline! The 34-year-old Maeve Livingstone!" Eagle 3-1 explains. "So, this

whole time he was still in this timeline?" Seth questioned. They headed to the

location Maeve told them about and they found it. "Wow, it's so big." Eagle 3-1

was stunned. "Mr. Kennedy, I am pretty sure you must go inside to deactivate

it." Eagle 3-1 tells Dad. "Seth. You are going to stay outside the silo to make

sure no one enters." Eagle 3-1 tells Seth. "What are you going to do?" Seth

asks Eagle 3-1. "I will go find the other missiles that are going to go off

before the nuclear bomb." Eagle 3-1 heads to where he needs to be while Seth

stays outside the silo to protect Dad.

We

told Dad and Mom everything. Dad is helping to deactivate the nuclear bomb. Mom

is helping evacuate people into shelters in case it happens. While Seth told me

to stay with Mom to evacuate people, I didn't listen to him. I went to find

where the missiles were. I had a clue where it was. A few months ago, when I

received a text message from Squad 5 saying "Captain 5 betrayed us" Seth helped

me track the message. I went to the location where they sent the message. It

was a small building. I went inside it; it was pretty much empty. A perfect

place to launch missiles. As I was walking to find the missiles, someone dug a

pistol at the back of my head. "If you move, I will shoot." A man said. My

heart was racing so fast I slowly turned my eyes to see who it was. "Maevy?!" I

yelled. "Yeah, it's me Maevy, Alicia." Maeve (34 yr) answers. "What are you

doing?" I pretended to laugh. "Stop pretending like you don't know." Maeve (34

yr) scares me. "Hands up, stand there!" Maeve (34 yr) demands. I was shivering

and unable to do anything. He was about to launch the missiles. Suddenly, A man

broke the window and came inside the building and the glass scattered

everywhere. It was none other than Eagle 3-1. Maeve quickly took action and

took out the gun to shoot me and he shot it. He aimed toward me, but Eagle 3-1

came in front of me and shielded me. Blood scattered everywhere. Maeve

continued to shoot until his bullets ran out. Eagle 3-1 got shot 16 times. I

screamed. "Eagle 3-1! NO!!" I cried. "I'm glad you made it in this timeline.

Sorry, Alicia. Because of me, you died in the last timeline. This time, I

won't...let...you...die." Eagle 3-1 says his last words and stops breathing. I

shed a lot of tears when I barely knew this person. I look at Maeve, and he

continues to launch the missiles. I put Eagle 3-1's body down and run towards

Maeve I jump on him and push him to the ground. "What a nuisance!" Maeve gets

super angry. "He takes the empty gun and starts hitting my head with it. He's

way too strong. I lose too much blood and fall to the ground. He heads towards

the missiles. I fail. I fall unconscious, but he manages to launch the missiles.

 The city screens glitch out. "There has

been an emergency, take shelter immediately!" Missiles go off. "People's

screams could be heard echoing. I woke up and I looked outside the windows. It

was disastrous. "Now that you are awake. If you don't want to die, give me the

location of Seth Kennedy right now. He ruined everything." Maeve demands. "I...

don't...know," I tell him the truth. I received a text message. "Oh great! It's

from Seth!" Maeve says. "It says, I asked mom how you were doing, but she said

you weren't with her! Where in the world are you? It is not safe. My location is

in the Silo Sector A17. Great, now we know where he is!" Maeve laughs. Maeve

picks me up and puts me in the car. By the time I knew it, we had arrived at

the location. He drags me out of the car and takes me inside the silo. "Hey

there, Seth," Maeve says. "Maeve...? You must be 34-year-old Maeve- Wait,

ALICIA?!" Seth shouts. "That's right, open the door if you don't want her

dead." Maeve threatens. Seth starts breathing heavily and opens the door. Maeve

drops me on the ground and points the gun at Dad. "Mr. Kennedy. You're at

gunpoint. Stop what you're doing immediately." Maeve threatens. Maeve doesn't

hesitate. He shoots. Seth and I both scream and flinch at the loud gunshot. We

open our eyes to look at Dad. Before we knew it someone was standing there in front

of Dad, shielding him from the bullet. "Sethy!" I shouted. I look at Maeve and his

eyes widen to see old Seth in front of him. "Seth...?" Maeve questions. Sethy

looks older than 35-year-old Maeve, even though they should be the same age.

Sethy coughs out blood. "Maeve. You have to stop. At least tell me why you are

doing this." Sethy asks. "Exactly, I have nothing against you guys. I am doing

all this to destroy my Dad-" Seth interrupts Maeve. "Your dad was arrested a

few hours ago. "Actually...?" Maeve starts laughing. "Exactly what I wanted!"

Maeve continues to laugh. "Even better, now I can bomb the government he tried

so hard to build all these years!" Maeve laughs menacingly. Sethy continues to

cough blood out. "It's done! I deactivated it!" Dad says. Sethy coughs blood. "That's

great Dad...you guy, put this place on fire and get out..." Sethy coughs up

more blood. "We're not leaving you!" Seth promises. "I will deal

with...Meave...you guys put this place on fire and get out!" Sethy yells. "We

can't!" I cry. Sethy looks sad after looking at me. What Eagle 3-1 said was

unusual. Did Alicia die by any chance in the future? Seth and Dad grabbed me,

they looked sad, but we had to leave him here. Seth takes the gasoline and

pours it everywhere. He lights up a match, and we all run out of there. "What

are you planning to do after getting shot Seth?" Maeve asks. "Why'd you let

them go just like that?" Seth asks. "Because I'm just after the nuclear bomb.

You're not a big threat, because you're shot very badly." Maeve explains. "And

guess whose fault is that..." Sethy chuckles. "What's that smell? Is

that...fire?" Maeve got suspicious. Sethy laughs. "Hey... What did you do?"

Maeve yells. "Nothing. Just lit this place on fire so we can burn here

together." Sethy laughs. "You really are surprising, Seth." Maeve laughs. "You

really think I won't be able to blow this place up?" Maeve laughs. "Yeah." Sethy

answers. "You're so foolish-" Maeve gets interrupted by a piece of the ceiling falling

on him. "I guess everyone has their ending." Sethy says. "...you...I...

wont...forgi..ve...you" Maeve slowly stops speaking. The fire starts getting

heavier and more dangerous. "I guess we were meant to have the same ending,

Maeve-" Sethy gets burned by the fire...

A

few years pass by...

"Thats

why I believe, the East should stop!" I shouted. The crowd applauds. I sigh. 'That

was tiring.' "Alicia Kennedy?" A man says. "Yes! What can I do for you?" I ask.

"Oh, nothing at all! I just really loved your speech!" The man admires. "Oh!

That's so kind of you!" I show my gratitude. "I am Dr. Ali, it was very nice meeting

you, Alicia Kennedy!" Dr. Ali introduces himself. "Nice to meet you Dr. Ali!

Well, see you around!" I say goodbye. I headed home. "How was politician work,

Alicia?" Seth asks. "Tiring..." I answer. 

From time to time, I thought to myself. When the fallout happened in the

previous timeline, Alicia met loads of people. In this timeline, those people

are strangers to me.

I

went outside for a walk. It started raining. I didn't have an umbrella. A lady

suddenly gave me an umbrella. "Here take this, or you will catch a cold." She

worries. I thank her. "Are you by any chance the famous new politician, Alicia

Kennedy?" The lady asks. "Ah, yes I am." I answer proudly. "Really? I am a big

fan of yours! My name is Rin! Here's my number, if you ever need anything." Rin

says. "Thanks Rin. I hope we can get closer." I say goodbye. I head back home,

open my drawer, and suddenly pause. I see the letters in my drawer. I wondered

how they all were doing. Today is May 4, 2035. As she said, we were the Preventers.
