Avery leaned weakly against the door, her heart racing. Seeing him again brought all the memories of last night crashing back. She took deep, long breaths, trying to calm her mind and push away distracting thoughts. Turning back to the board, she pressed the sticky edge of it onto the wall in the second bedroom.

She put on loud music, humming along as she cleared the second bedroom, removing the furniture and rearranging it to become her base room.

She stacked her boxes of weapons on one side and shut the curtains, creating a dark ambiance. Taking out the sticky notes, she wrote down the names of her targets in city A, including the people and bases of operation working under them- she was to destroy. Sticking them strategically on the board, she marked the suburban drink factory as her first mission.
