Chapter 68- What happened?

Avery's eyes snapped open as she picked up his heartbeat coming from three cars away. She flashed towards the location.

Aiden ran, his heart pounding in his throat, his limbs aching painfully, but he didn't stop. 'I can't let them have it. I have to get away from here.' His thoughts were firm as he didn't stop running, his eyes blurry with sweat and his heart-gripping tightly from fear.

Without warning, a rough hand clamped around Aiden's arm. Panic surged through him as he twitched and thrashed, trying to break free.

The man dragged him and opened the train door, and the rush of wind hit Aiden like a wall, stinging his skin. The man leaned close, "Boy, where's the drive, or you'll find yourself under the wheels," he growled, shoving him towards the roaring tracks below.

'ahh!'' Aiden let out a scream, his eyes filled with terror. He held onto the man tightly as tears burst from his eyes, his heart drumming so loudly he could barely breathe.
