037 Do You Agree?

"Let's go!" Aurelius's commanding voice resounded through the empty hallway of the ship.

Elise's whole body jerked while her tail behind her stood up straight like a scared cat. Her heartbeat quickened while her blue eyes darted around in fear as she reluctantly walked with Aurelius toward his room.

CLICK

She closed the door behind them with a soft click while her heartbeat rose and her eyes darted around the room, thinking of a way for her to escape her current predicament.

Aurelius glanced around the room, just like the rest; the room had expensive paintings, furniture made of rare wood, and fragrant, exotic flowers.

"Nice," he muttered out loud as he took a deep breath, letting the pleasant smell in the air calm his mind. He walked over to the window of the room, which was covered with silk curtains.

Sliding the curtains open, he was greeted by the endless ocean before him. He watched the sea for a while, letting the vastness drown him for a moment before turning toward Elise, who was standing in a corner.

"Prepare the bath for me," he muttered as he walked over to the big bed in the middle of the room and fell onto it, sinking into the soft, squishy mattress.

"Y-Yes, my Lord." Elise stammered as she hurried toward the other side of the room; she entered the bathroom and did her work while Aurelius closed his eyes.

'System, show me Elise's status.'

[Ding!]

[Showing the target's status!]

STATUS

Name: Elise

Race: Werewolf demon

Age: 28

Level: 19

Condition: Scared, Angry, Sad, depressed.

Aurelius read Elise's once again while nodding to himself, 'If I could know why she was angry and depressed, I could manipulate her and convert her!'

'System, why is Elise depressed and angry?'

[Ding!]

Information about Elise's depression!

Price: 50 faith points

Do you wish to continue?

[Yes] / [No]

Aurelius frowned as he looked at the cost of the information; although not that expensive, it was not cheap either, as he was now low on faith points.

But then, a thought popped up in Aurelius's mind as he asked the system, 'System, is the price for the full information about her condition?'

[Yes, Host! The price of 50 faith points will reveal everything about the target's condition and the reason behind it!]

[Do you wish to continue?]

[Yes] / [No]

'No,' Aurelius immediately selected 'no.' 'I have no use for her full story; I just need to know the source or cause of her depression.'

'System, just tell about the cause of her depression in one word!' Aurelius asked, 'I feel like the cost would drop significantly.'

And confirming his thoughts, the system said,

[Ding!]

Information regarding the cause of the target's depression in one word!

Price: 1 Faith point

Do you wish to continue?

[Yes] / [No]

'Yes!' Aurelius muttered excitedly as his theory worked, 'As long as I specify what I want to know, the price of the information varies!'

[Ding!]

[The source of the target's depression: bullying!]

'I thought so!' Aurelius mumbled inwardly as his eyes glinted for a moment.

'I have already guessed that that is the case; the system only confirmed it.'

Aurelius then sat upright and glanced at the entrance of the bathroom, 'This makes it only easier!' A sly smile bloomed on his face as he noticed Elise walking out of the bathroom.

"M-My lord, the bath is ready!" she said as she stood in front of him, her hands tightly clutching the ends of her dress.

CHUCKLE

Aurelius chuckled at Elise; the girl was too fearful for her own good. "Don't worry, I won't touch you unless you want me to." He said with a reassuring smile on his face. He was still wearing the hood and planned on removing it while in the bath.

Elise's breath visibly calmed down as she heard him; she didn't want to sell her body for money but was afraid to say no to their guests, as they were all influential people.

But her relief would only be short-lived when she heard his next words, "But," Aurelius said, making Elise flinch; her heartbeat quickened while her grip around her dress tightened, fear reflected in her moistened eyes while her tail became limp in helplessness.

"You have to do one thing for me," Aurelius finished his sentence; an amused smile replaced his sly smile as he enjoyed Elise's expression.

"W-What do I have to do, my lord?" she asked in a strained voice. Her voice was a little coarse, yet soft and feminine.

Aurelius's smile widened as he listened to her voice; it sounded like a lost puppy searching for its mother. "Nothing serious," Aurelius said as he shrugged his shoulders, "You know that my woman and that maid are going to come to my room in a while, right?"

He asked, his amused smile widening into a grin.

Elise's face immediately turned beet red while her heartbeat quickened. She stuttered as she nodded her head, "Y-Yes."

Aurelius's grin widened as he was too amused by her cuteness, "Then... do you know what we are going to do?"

"Y-Y-Yes," she said as her entire face turned deep red with smoke coming from her ears. Her blue wolf ears perked up with a hint of pink at their edges while her limp tail swayed heavily behind her back.

"What I want you to do is simple. I will not touch you or force you if you watch us doing it," Aurelius said with his grin now reaching his ears. He backed his shoulders, opening his wide chest as he continued.

"Not only that, I will help you get revenge on those who bullied you!"

BOOM

An explosion went off in Elise's mind as her whole body jerked in reaction to Aurelius's words, and for the first time since she had met him, she raised her head, looking him straight in the eyes.

"So, do you agree?"
