"What did you say?"

Rose just heard some static.

"Your exile has been lifted. The Department over in the Magic World sent a request stating that you will have to go back."

Rose froze.

She couldn't make sense of anything. She can go back. Why was she scared? She looked for Asher and stared.

He took over.

"Does she have to go instantly? What's the process? What has exactly happened?"

Madam Denise answered.

"Her summon hasn't arrived yet. And even if it did, she has lived here for more than five years, she can stay here if she wants. Their summon is like a formality. But if she was jobless here, she would have to go back."

She paused and looked at Asher.

"She works for you. The bonus is that she is also an official of the Magic Office. They can't just order her to come back."
