Chapter 23

The soft ticking of the ornate grandfather clock in the corner of the room filled the air, a steady reminder of the minutes slipping by in tense silence. Kellan's mother, Mrs. Evelyn Crownstar, sat upright in her chair, her hands resting elegantly in her lap, though her fingers twitched slightly, betraying her impatience.

Her mind was spinning with thoughts of the enigmatic CEO of Harvard, the man who had refused every interview, evaded every attempt at public scrutiny.

No one had ever seen his face, no one knew his voice. The mystery surrounding him was infuriating, especially in a world where success thrived on visibility and reputation.

"I don't understand why he refuses any interviews," Evelyn muttered, her lips pursed in frustration. "He doesn't come out in public, his face is never shown. What is he hiding? Does he have a bad face or what?"
