Chapter 34: Continuous Rain and Drizzle

In the middle of the night, the rustling sound woke Mu Ying up; she got out of bed, pushed open the window, and was met with a mist of water vapor, "Is it raining?"

It had been over half a month since the last rainfall, so she reached out to catch some raindrops and played with them for a while before closing the window and lying down to sleep again.

The rain continued throughout the night, and the birds stayed inside, avoiding their usual chirping, which allowed Mu Ying the rare luxury of sleeping in.

Mu Ying knelt by the bed, leaning on the windowsill, and stuck half her body out the window to watch the rain.

The rain was as fine as cow hair, dense like brocade, enveloping the entire forest in a layer of mist, turning it into something like a fairyland.

After daydreaming for a while, she decided to get up and go outside for a walk.
