Confusing

David turned quickly, his dark eyes sharply scanning the figure who had just touched his shoulder. In the dim streetlight, he saw a tall man with a familiar face—one of the detectives involved in his parents' case. It seemed David's fame had attracted the attention of people who had known him before.

David recognized the man by his sharp facial features and his evaluative gaze.

"Detective Ryan?" David asked cautiously.

The man gave a faint smile. "David, we need to talk."

David frowned. "About what?"

"It seems there's something you need to know," Detective Ryan said, glancing around to ensure no one was overhearing them. "About your parents' death."

David felt a shiver run through him. "What do you mean?"

Ryan nodded. "There are some things you might not know. Things that could change your perspective on the whole event."

David stared at Ryan, a mix of curiosity and concern clouding his mind. "Alright, just tell me."
