"I I think... I think I can't continue with this relationship, l am truly sorry!"
In the softest romantic voice tone, Nadia Browne, a spotless skin alpha, young lady with big bright eyes which gave her an ethereal glow, stutteringly terminated a relationship on a phone call.
Behind the phone, a tall magnificent dude named Bob Lee, who used to take away the breath of any lady alive, on bloodspot eyes he laughed indifferently when Nadia spoke such mood killing words in his ear, unexpectedly and abruptly.
"You're joking, right?" Trembling in his deep male voice, "I've been calling your phone desperately each and every hour for two consecutive days but actually, you've not been answering. Did I wrong you in any way?"
"..."
"Don't' be silent on me, speak up! Why have you neglected talking to me for two and a half days? Because it's already afternoon!" Bob Lee raised his voice aggressively puzzled at Nadia Browne, as he moved back and forth.
Immediately, however, he realised his voice tone had gone out of line while speaking to the first love of his life and straightaway, he calmed down with an apology. "Okay, I'm sorry, didn't mean to yell at you. Understand why I'm behaving this way; you know I love you, right?"
"....."
"Hello hello...., talk to me Nadia, please!"
Nadia kept her phone on ear but she barely uttered a word. Bob Lee yearned, pulling hard on a rope that was not coming. But, he could hear small sounds of her environment in the phone background.
"Nadia I'm talking to you, I know you can hear me!" He longed persistently.
"Of course I can hear you", so manupilative, with a careless voice tone she responded.
"Look Nadia, our relationship is only a week old... Three days ago, we were up all night long making love and playing games. Me and you were so energetic and beautiful on our first romantic night."
Bob Lee went further and said, "before I even asked, you climbed and sat comfortably on top of my unclothed body, and gazed intently straight into my eyes. Slowly, you lowered your head and kissed my forehead; 'such an elusive unicorn in bed, it was so amazing you ride so well... thank you!' That's exactly how you complimented my bed performance with your charming soft voice, which accompanied a beautiful smile you wore on a sweaty face."
"I wasn't lying", Nadia emphasized immediately.
"Really Nadia! So, tell me... Does this behavior make you feel any better? Or, it is just a trick ladies like you use to check and see if men can really cry _ I don't understand!" He sighed confoundedly.
"No!" She replied carelessly still.
"To tell the truth Nadia, it's like am walking at the edge of a knife right now, so tough, I'm bleeding. Deep inside I feel very bad and I don't know if you can relate. The feeling is killing me quietly and am about to run crazily on the streets!" Speaking with a lot of passion, Bob Lee yearned to be understood.
"...."
"I need to know what the matter is..." He insisted begging, expecting her to spice up the conversation with some love and affection, but Nadia never cared.
"Nothing is the matter, I just don't need this relationship any more," boldly hitting the last nail in the coffin, she turned off the phone immediately.
"Nadia hello, hello, hello...!" Yearning to hear her voice again but she was offline already.
She chucked him out of her life unexpectedly. Bob Lee was left hanging, with a look of perplexity on his face.
In his executive office room, set at the top most floor on a skyscraper where he was standing, slowly Bob Lee bent dizzily and looked down with a heavy head spin. As heartbreak pains continued occupying his soul and spinning his head, he held both his hands against his knees, breaking down slowly. At the moment, his legs couldn't support him to stand any more that, finally, he broke down, fainted and slumped to the floor, unconsciously blacking out.
In an expensive neighborhood with beautiful apartment blocks, up, inside one of the apartment blocks, here stood Nadia Browne in an apartment, next to a very wide transparent window where bright afternoon sunlight rays touched her skin. She was so relaxed looking through the window, with her mobile phone in the hand after tearing Bob Lee's heart in pieces.
Listening to a nice jam which played on radio, suddenly, from behind her approach a man who was a little bit older than Bob Lee. The man only had a white pair of boxers covering tight on his lower body. Sipping on a white cup of tea he had in a hand, conveniently, he started dancing body to body, right behind Nadia Browne.
Slowly, like a moving snake, his other free hand touched around Nadia's waist upto the front and untied the soft belts attached to the silk designer pink bedroom gown she was dressed in, loose.
With a smile so bright, Nadia turned around. Their eyes met and gently, she joined his dancing to the music on radio. As he leaned in, she lifted her hands and placed them on his naked chest.
Their lips met softly at first. She moved her hands further upto around his neck were she held gently amidst a gentle kiss exploration which further deepened into passion and longing, increasingly unbothered by her mobile phone dropping down on the floor.
Unknowingly to Bob Lee, the beautiful bird he trusted with high hopes of sharing his world and fly the love journey together, already had another world were it felt more comfortable to spread its wings and fly.
In other words, Nadia Browne had a boyfriend whom she loved so dearly, ready to sacrifice everything for. And Bob Lee, just like any other gorgeous man with a striking force of attraction, he got lucky to taste the forbidden fruit which fell his way from another man's garden, in a shortest time.
In a cinema hall they met. Nadia Browne was sitting back, enjoying her packet of popcorn after the movie had ended. When the lights came on, Bob Lee, who was with fellow elites ready to walk out, spotted her. As a dude who trusted his potential to bring down to his feet any lady alive, with his striking looks and status he approached her. Very right in his expectations, Nadia Browne's mind was straight away eaten up by the charming looks of a dude who walked her way.
Four days later, somewhere in an executive suite in a noble hotel, Nadia was underneath white sheets, clothes off, rubbing bodies with Bob Lee. And after that romantic night, Bob Lee didn't remain the same. He developed deep feelings of love and affection for Nadia Browne.
"Boss!" On a little foggy sight when he sluggishly opened his eyes, a female voice called him, "boss, it's me, your secretary Ishtar."
"Ishtar?" Bob Lee uttered in a sigh.
"Yes boss, you made us so worried. Do you feel better now?" Ishtar, so anxious about Bob Lee's health, leaned in and touched on his hand down in his office couch where he was laid.
"How long have I been unconscious?"
"Less than sixty minutes boss, but the doctor said you just need to take enough rest."
As she supported him to get off his back and sit, "for the past two days your conduct was worrying and you've not been resting well, I'm here if you need anything or someone to talk to," so caring in her voice.
Bob Lee raised his left hand, grabbed Ishtar's hand and leaned her in. His mouth closest to her ear, "Marry me!" In a barely audible voice, he asked.
"What?" Ishtar startled in shock and her heart raced.
An omega, back in the days when she was still thirteen years old, her mother who used to work as a house maid at Bob Lee's parents mansion accidentally slipped into the home swimming pool and drowned. Luckily, her life was saved after a quick rescue.
On the misery side, however, after a few months, Ishtar's injured mother faced a terrible body stroke which landed her in a centre for the disabled. Young Ishtar, who was used to living with her mother in the maid's quarters turned out to be helpless. Hence Bob Lee's parents' responsibility.
They began to feed and take her through school on their expense. Ishtar, however, continued from where her mother stopped, working as their house maid.
As time went by, Ishtar graduated from school with a first class degree. Since she was cool, intelligent and ambitious, when Bob Lee inherited the company after his father had passed on, he opted to employ her as his personal secretary.
But, Bob Lee never wanted his aging mother to suffer loneliness. So, him and Ishtar continued to stay at the family mansion.
Over the years, with her exceptional knowledge and good business tongue which helped in nailing high value deals, Ishtar managed to multiply the company's wealth and made Bob Lee a billionaire CEO which indeed was a great achievement, one of Ishtar's two major wishes.
Ishtar wished to pay back for the hospitality Bob Lee's family showed her in catering for her mother's medical bills year in year out, and taking her through school. And by boosting their family company's growth, it was a satisfying fulfilment for her.
Another wish, and the most desirable one of all, haunted her so restless like a ghost in the dark. Much as she desired to have it come true, the wish was beyond her capabilities to fulfill.
