56: Angel's interest.

"When was such a strange creature born in this universe?" someone murmured with some interest as he watched the energy clash between the two women through what appeared to be a crystal ball.

"It seems that I haven't been out observing the universe looking for interesting things lately," the figure stopped watching, knowing that the blue-haired girl who had attracted his attention the most would win.

"On the other hand, how did the power of Universe 2 get here? I'll have to wait for Master Beerus to wake up and feel the same interest in traveling to this planet.

Earth... that strange place, it seems that even after Master Beerus' visit, it had life again. Will there be any dinosaurs left?" murmured the figure whose blue skin and white hair identified him as the strongest being in this universe.

Whis. His newfound interest made him want to watch Bulma's future actions, to get to know her better. So he began to explore her past with his staff; only in this way would he be able to understand her future actions.

...

"Go away!" Bulma shouted, expelling every bit of her energy into the purple beam of power that hit Lan-Fan's body and gradually pushed her out of the arena.

"How can you beat me?" shouted Lan-Fan, full of anger and helplessness, even all the 'Love' power she used seemed to be insufficient against Bulma's desperate remount.

"Because you don't use your power," Bulma retorted before giving a final push, pulling Lan-Fan out and shattering the technique he had unleashed.

Soon, all of the people who were 'in love' with Lan-Fan reacted, realizing that they had felt emotions they shouldn't have, and perhaps because of the 'fakeness' of this love, the aftermath was minimal, they just felt that Lan-Fan wasn't as 'cute' or alluring as before.

"What just happened? Never mind! What a good fight, right? The winner is Bulma!" the announcer shouted, causing the audience, which had been slowed down by what had just happened, to roar with excitement.

"It looks like we just saw and experienced a new kind of power," Muten Roshi said, touching his beard with some interest, but also some fear.

It seems that mental training must take a higher priority, although some techniques attack emotions, I never thought to come across a power source that relies on 'love' like this, that's dangerous,' Muten Roshi thought and his mind began to devise a way that would help him overcome a similar situation in the future.

Bulma, who was breathing heavily, smiled. This was what she wanted: a hard fight that would help her grow and digest all the results of her training, a fight that would help her grow in power.

Bulma straightened her back and brushed away the sweat-soaked hair that clung to her forehead. She looked at Lan-Fan, who seemed to have received a rather strong mental shock, and Bulma had no doubt, any kind of power that had to do with the mind or emotions always tended to have some kind of disadvantage, especially when it was deactivated or rudely interrupted.

"Why...?" muttered Lan-Fan, who was on her knees on the ground, not knowing exactly why she had lost.

"I repeat, this is not your power," Bulma said as she approached the girl.

"Though powerful, that power only gives you temporary power, and since it is not yours, your mentality did not adapt, so you acted pompously as if you dominated everyone.

But the truth is that power never belonged to you, your Ki remained the same, your Ki did not grow, change, or even differ from other fighters," Bulma pointed out, causing Lan-Fan to look up, her eyes full of reproach as she watched the blue-haired girl.

"Why are you telling me that!?" Lan-Fan shouted, making Bulma shake her head, noticing the emotional aftermath of that kind of power.

"I feel that you are using this power the wrong way, love is not achieved by mere seduction, love is something that is achieved with time and trust, that is why your power is so fragile," Bulma, who understood a bit of this strange power by fighting against it, explained this situation to Lan-Fan.

"Do you want to be loved by everyone? Make yourself someone that everyone can trust, then maybe this power will change something in you and become more than just a force that temporarily empowers you." Bulma's words made Lan-Fan bite her lower lip in frustration, because she knew that this was the right way, but it was too slow for her.

"If you want to fight me on equal terms again, this is the way to do it," Bulma said before showing Lan-Fan her palm, hoping to help her up.

Lan-Fan looked at Bulma with a different kind of emotion, but then she calmed down. It seemed that the emotional shock caused by the disruption of her mental abilities had subsided, so she took Bulma's hand, which helped her to her feet.

"What a display of sportsmanship! It seems that these two fighters have made peace. I hope to see them fight again in the next edition of this tournament," the host said, causing that kind of anticipation to grow in the audience.

"Now, the next fighters are Rock Lee vs. Toguro!" said Muten Roshi, causing many people to gasp.

They had seen Toguro's fight on the first night! That guy was a big man, full of muscles on his body, and was able to defeat his opponent with a single punch, attracting the attention of the crowd at the time.

On the other hand, Rock Lee looked quite small in comparison, which made many people fear for this guy. But Rock Lee was happy at that moment, and he entered the arena with a big smile on his face.

Toguro took it one step at a time, ignoring the crowd that kept cheering his name. He concentrated on his fight, for even though his opponent was a young man, he had seen the fighting spirit this boy had shown on the first night.

Furthermore, he could sense that the young man had begun to explore the control of his energy and felt much more alive than before. This made Toguro smile slightly, Maybe he could teach this boy something.

"Let the match begin!" announced Muten Roshi, and the gong was loudly struck.

"Boy, it looks like you've received some ki training," Toguro said, taking off the dark green trench coat that covered his body.

Toguro showed off his muscles, which looked like coiled snakes that were constantly writhing, gradually inflating his body. Toguro's energy seemed to be quite high and dark, but there was a smile full of fighting desire on his face.

"Yes, someone decided to teach me a bit, it's something basic, and I haven't had much time to practice, but I hope to do my best in this fight," Rock Lee explained enthusiastically.

A small green-colored aura emerged from Rock Lee's body; it was weak, but it was enough to give him a slight physical improvement. This showed how highly talented Rock Lee was in terms of energy, as he had reached this point very quickly with only a few days of training.

"Well then... let's fight." Toguro's leg muscles twisted, allowing him to leap forward as if propelled by a spring.

The repaired sand cracked with every step he took, and though he looked sturdy and heavy, his movement was quite fast. But Rock Lee's dynamic vision was quite good, so he was able to see a bit of Toguro's track.

Thus, he was able to put his arms in a defensive position and managed to protect his body from the strong blow that Toguro gave him. Even though his body was thrown back, at least he didn't go flying.

Still, his arms shook from the force he had to resist. But he gritted his teeth, not wanting to just be a punching bag, and when Toguro approached to kick him again, he pushed his body to the limit and managed to dodge the attack by the skin of his teeth.

Then, Rock Lee took the opportunity to throw a punch at Toguro, who felt the little force behind the blow and simply let it hit his stomach.

The blow sounded rather dry, as if Rock Lee had hit a concrete wall. Rock Lee's eyes narrowed slightly when he saw this absurd situation, but he didn't give up, taking advantage of Toguro's obvious lack of reaction to continue hitting him hard.

"Boy, if you want to increase your strength with ki, you should direct it like this when you attack..." Unconcerned, Toguro began to verbally instruct Rock Lee, causing him to become a bit agitated.

Under the big man's advice, Rock Lee's punches began to increase in strength, causing Toguro to even smile broadly, because now he could 'feel' the boy's punches, even though they were as painful as the touch of a flower, it was a different change from the previous damage.

"Good, now I'll show you something you can achieve if you train hard." Toguro stepped back and turned away from Rock Lee, who was breathing heavily due to the strenuous training.

Toguro seemed to catch his breath, and then a strong pressure came out of him. A dark aura emerged from his body, but contrary to what one might think, it was not evil; it simply had that special color.

Toguro's muscles twisted even more, growing out of proportion to the point where it was no longer aesthetically pleasing, but simply looked like a huge mountain of muscles.

"Wow, that's pretty good muscle control, even I feel inspired!" said Muten Roshi, acknowledging the differences between his technique and Toguro's.

"Looks like Toguro wants to prove something to fighter Rock Lee! This is the kind of thing this tournament was created for, to share experiences and teachings, not just to fight," the moderator commented at the right time, returning to the basic point of why this tournament was organized.

It was not just to enjoy fighting or to win money, but to share experiences, to learn from others, and to see new fighting styles. Therefore, many fighters from all over the world attended this tournament, hoping to be inspired.

Toguro's Ki was finely controlled by him, even if it did not appear so to the naked eye. Toguro's fist was covered in energy before he struck the sky.

Under the starlight, many people watched as a beam of energy shot across the sky, clearing the cloudy sky. It was a demonstration strike, but Rock Lee's eyes were filled with stars.

Knowing that he could reach this point filled him with determination! So, without waiting for Toguro to fight him again, he simply jumped out of the arena, disqualifying himself.

"Thank you for the instruction, Mr. Toguro, I hope to meet you in three years," Rock Lee said, bowing 90 degrees in the direction of the fighter.

"What a beautiful denouement! Fighter Rock Lee has disqualified himself! The winner is Fighter Toguro!" the announcer shouted, excited at the end of the match.

"Boy, would you like to follow me?" asked Toguro, and Rock Lee wasted no time in nodding.

"Of course I would!" shouted Rock Lee, making Toguro, who had approached the young man, smile.

"Good, I'll make a strong man out of you," Toguro said before putting his trench coat back on.

Then, sensing that something interesting was about to happen, Toguro looked around the arena and saw a fighter who made him raise an eyebrow. A tall, slender man with slicked-back black hair who radiated an elegant aura.

"The next fighters are Shinobu Sensui versus Bane!" shouted Muten Roshi, introducing the two fighters.

Both were tall, but while Sensui was slender, Bane was a man wearing a mask, and his body was quite stocky, but his eyes looked quite intelligent, cautiously eyeing Sensui, who simply smiled kindly.

The starting gong was struck with great force, signaling the beginning of this match.
