The mystery man

Hye-ji was busy scrolling through her phone when she noticed Min-ju leave in a rush. She had been chatting with her just moments before, but Min-ju had suddenly excused herself, citing an emergency.

Hye-ji's curiosity was piqued as she watched Min-ju hurry out of the dormitory. Something didn't feel right.

Without hesitation, Hye-ji grabbed her jacket and followed Min-ju from a distance. She kept to the shadows, careful not to be seen as she trailed behind her friend.

The night air was cool and crisp as Min-ju made her way to the old warehouse. The streets were eerily quiet, and the only sound was the soft rustling of leaves in the wind. Her heart pounded with a mix of fear and determination. She knew she was walking into the unknown, but she was determined to uncover the truth behind Tae-hyun's death.

As she followed Min-ju through the winding streets of Seoul, Hye-ji's mind raced with possibilities. Where was Min-ju going in such a hurry? And why had she been so secretive about it?

Hye-ji's instincts told her that something was off, and she was determined to get to the bottom of it. She queitly followed Min-ju all the way to the old warehouse

Min-ju arrived at the warehouse, her heart pounding in her chest. The building loomed before her, its towering structure casting long shadows in the dim light. She hesitated for a moment, wondering if she should turn back, but her determination propelled her forward.

As she approached the warehouse, Min Ju noticed how dilapidated it looked. The windows were broken, and the walls were covered in graffiti. She took a deep breath and pushed open the creaky door, stepping into the darkness.

Hye Ji watched from across the street as her friend entered the building. Her heart skipped a beat as she realized that Min-ju was meeting someone in secret. Who was it? And what did they want with Min-ju?

"Hello?" Min Ju called out, her voice echoing in the empty space. For a moment, there was only silence.

Hye-ji crept closer, trying to get a better listen. She hid behind a dumpster, holding her breath as she strained to hear the conversation inside. But heard nothing but the cold silence mixed with careful footsteps which she knew was Min Ju's.

" Hello?, anyone here?" Min Ju called again, fear choking down her throat as she trended further in but had no reply. Just then, she noticed a shadow flashed down the dim light.

" Who is there?" She stuttered on edge. The shadow slowly approached without words, and Min-ju prepared to strike at any moment.

Closer and closer, the shadow crept forward. Min Ju's heart raced with every step. She trembled, her instincts screaming at her to run. But her feet seemed rooted to the spot. "Who's there?" she screamed, but there was no reply.

The shadow loomed closer, its presence suffocating. Min-ju raised her hands, ready to defend herself. But just as the figure was about to strike, a sudden movement caught her attention.

Suddenly, Hye-ji appeared, and they both screamed in fear. "What are you doing here? You scared me!" Min-ju said, realizing it was her friend.

Min-ju's scream instinctively died in her throat as she realized it was her friend. "What are you doing here?" she shouted, relief washing over her.

Hye-ji panted, her chest heaving. "I saw you rush out, so I followed you. What are you doing in this kind of place at this ungodly hour? It's dangerous!" she replied, her voice filled with concern.

Min-ju's gaze darted around, realizing that the mysterious person had vanished into thin air. She took a deep breath, trying to steady her racing heart. "I got a message. Someone told me to come here. I thought it might be about Tae-hyun."

Hye-ji's eyes widened. "A message? From who?"

"I don't know," Min-ju admitted. "But I had to find out. I can't let this go."

On realizing Min-ju had company, the shadow secretly exited the warehouse. All they heard was the sound of a vehicle speeding away into the darkness.

The two friends stood there, frozen in uncertainty. "I think who ever it was is gone now." Min-ju said finally, her voice barely above a whisper.

Hye-ji's eyes narrowed. " What did they want?"

Min-ju hesitated, unsure how much to reveal. But something about Hye-ji's concerned expression made her trust her friend. "I'll tell you everything," she said, "but let's get out of here first."

They hurried out of the warehouse, their footsteps echoing in the empty space.

Min-ju and Hye-ji walked back to their dormitory in silence, the only sound being the rustling of leaves beneath their feet. Once they reached Min-ju's room, she locked the door and turned to Hye-ji.

"I was supposed to meet someone who claimed to have information about Tae-hyun's death," Min-ju said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Hye-ji's eyes widened. "What kind of information?"

Min-ju hesitated, unsure how much to reveal. But Hye-ji's concerned expression made her trust her friend. "Well...after i showed you Tae's journal~" She begun which Hye Ji nodded to.

" These mysterious mesages came popping up from time to time concerning his death. I whoever it is knows something"

Hye-ji's face paled. "What? So did you find out anything!"

Min-ju nodded. "not really..."She sounded quite disappointed.

Hye-ji's expression turned determined. "I'm with you, Min-ju. We'll uncover the truth together. But you need to be more careful next time~ maybe the person might be after you as well"

" You are right..." She agreed. Just then, her phone buzzed. She hesitated before answering, wondering if it was the mysterious person again.

"Hello?" she said cautiously.

"Min-ju, it's CEO Kang. I heard from Hye-ji that you're in trouble. What's going on?"

Min-ju's eyes met Hye-ji's, and she mumbled. " Sorry...i did it in a rush. I was jut worried"

Min Ju knew she had to make up an excuse. She can't just trust anyone one at this point in time. Everyone was currently a suspect to her until the truth comes to light.

" Nothing to worry about, Mr. Kang. Everything is under control." She explained.

There was a pause on the other end of the line before CEO Kang spoke. " Um, alright if you say so. Let's meet me at my office tomorrow at 2 PM. We have a discussion on your upcoming projects."

Min-ju nodded, even though he couldn't see her. "Thank you, CEO Kang."

As she hung up the phone, Min-ju felt a sense of determination wash. That night, she couldn't sleep so decided to head down to the practice room.
