557 Gorgeous Turnaround

Revis decided to retire.

He finally decided to put aside his self-respect and pride, he finally decided to stop contending with the League, the team, and the fans, he finally decided to stop proving himself, to reconcile with himself, to turn around, leave and bid farewell to this field.

It wasn't because the Kansas City Chiefs had no place for him, but because he had come to terms with it.

In this year's playoffs, he had burned himself out completely, left with no energy, his body protesting and his spirit exhausted—it was time to stop running.

Revis told himself this.

Originally, Revis thought that retirement should be grand and dramatic; however, reality was different. On a calm afternoon, with the sun shining and a gentle breeze blowing, he made his decision.

Perhaps the only regret was that he had no one to share it with.
