"Wait a moment, Lady Cleya, I have a question. Regarding the paths to becoming Transcendent, is the Knight's path the only one in this world?" he asked.  


Cleya chuckled. She realized she had been so focused on teaching Rein the breathing technique and swordsmanship that she hadn't mentioned some common knowledge to him.  


"The paths to Transcendence are far more numerous than just the Knight's path. In fact, achieving Transcendence through the Knight's path isn't anywhere close to being the most powerful among the Transcendent. For example, all major Churches of the Empire have their own paths to Transcendence."
