If it weren't for Rein's "Metal Barrier," sometimes he wouldn't need to dodge at all and could take a direct hit from the Flame Strike without issue. Any other Great Knight, even a Peak Knight, would likely fall quickly on the spot if hit.
But as the battle intensified, the area around the lava giant, nearly half of the surroundings, had become unbearably hot molten lava.
The space left for Rein to maneuver and attack was getting smaller and smaller.
If the lava giant spewed magma again, Rein would be at a disadvantage.
Of course, Rein could choose to give up.
He could choose to return to Minster City, for Asimov wouldn't dare to control the lava giant to attack Minster openly.
But that wasn't the outcome Rein wanted!
Rein narrowed his eyes, a fierce light flashing across them!
If that was the case, then there would be no dodging!
