Chapter 36 Lord Ash is Truly Ruthless

Early morning.

Sunlight filtered through the gaps in the leaves, dappling the figure of a girl with ivory-white long hair, who held a map up to block her cheeks, rendering her face indiscernible.

However, judging from her tall figure, she was likely a rare beauty, especially those straight, slender legs that seemed impossible to tear one's eyes away from.

"Mhm, this is the place." The girl with the ivory-white hair seemed to confirm her destination as she stepped forward, making her way through the dense thicket.

As branches rustled, a tall eight-legged horse emerged from the bushes and headed toward the distant village, smoke rising from its chimneys.

A moment later, children's laughter echoed; several frail children were seen turning over weeds on the ground, seemingly in search of herbs.

But upon sighting the approaching eight-legged horse, they were instantly terrified and began to flee toward the village.

"There's a monster!"

"Help!"
