Especially after the first Earth Defense War, the people of Earth had become well-acquainted with the Homeland Titan, understanding it to be the Star Alliance's ultimate weapon of war, and also regarded it as Chancellor Bai Zhongqi's trump card. This also meant that Bai Zhongqi had to be extremely cautious when deploying the Homeland Titan, as its departure from Earth could sometimes be misconstrued as a signal that the Chancellor was abandoning Earth. The blow to Earth's morale would be immense, and thus, Bai Zhongqi could not possibly pilot the Homeland Titan into lift-off from Earth unless absolutely necessary.
