Temporary Measure

The so-called brain herniation refers to a complication of increased cranial pressure.

Due to various reasons, such as trauma and cranial infections, cranial pressure continuously rises, and the body's automatic adjustment mechanism loses its compensatory ability, causing part of the brain tissue to move from areas of higher pressure to those of lower pressure. It protrudes through the normal physiological openings, and this phenomenon is called "brain herniation".

Because the protruding brain tissue compresses the brainstem and nearby vital blood vessels and nerves, a series of clinical manifestations appear, endangering life.
