"It's nothing," Li Ya feigned an excuse with a sigh, "Mom just thinks that now that you've found a boyfriend, you probably won't need me anymore."
Ye Xiaowei quickly said, "How could that be, I still have so much to learn from you in every aspect."
Then she turned to Gao Jun and said, "Jun, even if we start dating, we should still have meals with my mom often, don't you think that's okay?"
Gao Jun smiled, "No problem."
Upon hearing this, Li Ya felt somewhat troubled in her heart.
Ye Xiaowei thought doing this would make her mother happy, but she didn't expect it would only make her feel more lost.
Half guilty, half resentful.
After eating, Ye Xiaowei proposed to go shopping at the mall.
So they parted ways at the entrance of the mall.
Before leaving, Li Ya watched the retreating figures of Gao Jun and Ye Xiaowei, imagining that one day she too could walk arm in arm with him shopping.
But now, because of her status, she must ensure Ye Xiaowei's happiness.
