Chapter-5: A Strange Roomate

After a week,

In The S University...

Wei Chen was driving Xiao Bo to the university. And the Younger was so happy that his elder brother was accompanying him on his first day.

He forgot the warnings given by his father just half an hour ago while leaving.

He was terrified when his father grabbed his neck and threatened him that if he couldn't make Wang Mu Chen fall for him in a year, he would show him hell.

Song Wei Chen wanted to stop his father seeing how his younger brother was scared witless but he had to act like he was enjoying the show.

Cause if his father got a hint that he cared for his brother then he wouldn't let him interfere in Xiao Bo's matters.

If that happened, his Father would not stop and hand him the whip when he asked to abuse the younger in his stead.

He couldn't save Xiao Bo from his father's torture. So he stayed back and even fake smirked.

He then assured his father that he would keep an eye on him and wouldn't let the younger ruin their plans.

Song Yi Ming was satisfied by his eldest son's response and gave all the responsibility of Xiao Bo to him.

Xiao Bo was going to be a junior in high school, S University has students from high school to Master's degrees.

The reason why Song Yi Ming warned his youngest son to make Wang Mu Chen fall in love with him in a year was that Mu Chen is in his 3rd year now.

And rumors had that he will go to study abroad in his 4th year to do some project.

So, if anyone wanted to make him fall for them, then now was the exact time. That's why Song Yi Ming was pressurizing his youngest son.

In his past life, Xiao Bo followed his father's words and tried to get closer to Mu Chen but his eyes were only on Feng Xin Yi who was his classmate.

Xiao Bo told his father that Mu Chen was already in love and that he couldn't do anything about that but his father got furious and beat him.

Then told him to get rid of Xin Yi as his family was already ruined and it was not as powerful as it used to be back in the day so there was nothing to fear.

Song Yi Ming hired the bullies in the university and made trouble for Feng Xin Yi and everyone thought it was Xiao Bo who bullied him as he had a crush on Wang Mu Chen.

Even Mu Chen thought so and was about to interfere but Xin Yi told him that he could handle that much by himself, so he backed off.

But now that he would be living in dorms he didn't have to follow what his father said and could stay away from the protagonists of the novel.

Wei Chen also told him that he would take care of everything after he graduated and that he didn't have to be scared of their father.

Xiao Bo was relieved as the Goddess said just small changes such as getting a good brother and friend would do.

And he got his Dage back and now he had to make good friends in the University and...

Song Wei Chen noticed the frown on his Didi's face, he extended his hand and flicked his forehead.

"Ouch, Dage~..."

Xiao Bo whined while rubbing his forehead.

"What were you thinking, huh?"

Wei Chen asked him, smiling while concentrating on driving.

"Will... I be able to make friends?" Xiao Bo questioned.

"Of course, little idiot. Who doesn't want to make friends with such an adorable rabbit?"

Wei Chen pulled the younger's cheeks.

"Ahh... Dage! I am not a rabbit, hmph!"

Xiao Bo pouted.

Wei Chen chuckled seeing his adorable younger brother's cuteness,

"You will make lots of friends, ok? And make sure to become friends with your roommate 'cause you have to live with him for two whole years, and your dorms will change during graduation again."

"Yes, Dage. But I am scared, will he like me?"

Xiao Bo sighed fidgeting through his fingers.

"Of course, just be yourself and don't think much about what Father said. You don't have to make anyone fall for you, I will take care of it. So, you just focus on your studies and enjoy the life of a student, ok?"

Wei Chen patted the younger's shoulder.

Xiao Bo nodded, "Thank you, Wei Dage."

Wei Chen thanked the receptionist who completed the admission process for the younger and handed him the dorm keys.

"Let's go, your room is on the 4th floor of the 'Novice Pavillion'."

Wei Chen carried the three bags while Xiao Bo strode behind him carrying a small grey backpack and a light blue cat plushie whose name was 'Meow Meow' in his hands.

Xiao Bo was wearing a white tee and an oversized light purple colored hoodie on top of it along with navy blue colored baggy cargo pants. He had a small gold crystal seed necklace.

His caramel brown hair was styled into a shaggy hairstyle with a short mullet, his forehead was covered by fringes, and when looked up his brunette eyes sparkled under the sun rays.

Despite his skinny structure which was covered by his baggy clothes, his face was plump with cute chubby cheeks that were flushed pink.

He looked so adorable following his elder brother that everyone in the University stopped in their tracks and looked at him as they were in awe seeing a purple baby chick walking cutely following his Mama.

Flustered Xiao Bo tugged his brother's coat looking down,

"Why, what happened?" Wei Chen asked.

"All are looking here... I am scared, Dage."

Xiao Bo bit his lips not leaving the hem of his elder brother's coat.

Wei Chen smiled, shaking his head,

"They're looking at you 'cause you are looking so pretty, Xiao Xiao."

"No, they are looking here because you are so handsome."

Xiao Bo pouted, downcasting his head.

Wei Chen glared at the passersby as he knew the effect Xiao Bo had.

He was too thin and pretty to be called a man. Due to his petite body that didn't grew healthily as the boys of his same age cause of the extreme diet forced on him by his Father.

Also because of his beautiful looks of his grandmother that were passed down to him as an asset and those hyenas everywhere were waiting for a chance to ravish him.

But he couldn't let the younger live in Song's mansion anymore cause his father would introduce him to those old hagged friends of his and Wei Chen doesn't want to think what would happen to the younger if that happened.

His father's friends were all perverts and had eyes on Xiao Bo since they saw him.

That's also one of the reasons why Wei Chen proposed Xiao Bo to live in dorms.

Rather than his own home, the University was far safer and he could hire bodyguards in secret to protect him there.

He was already looking through the profiles of those who would be suitable to be his younger brother's bodyguards and they would be appointed soon so all he had to do was protect him until then.

The students gulped and ran away seeing how menacing Wei Chen looked.

They knew that they had no chance to adore the beauty when he was present so they tucked their tails in between their legs and ran off.

"See, now they are not looking. Let's go, we have to look for your room."

Wei Chen transferred the bag to his other hand and held the younger's palm.

They both walked towards the 'Novice Pavillion' which was specially built for rookie students.

It was for the first years and everyone was looking confused and lost.

As Wei Chen was seven years older than him he had already completed his master's and knew his way around the campus.

So, he took the younger straight to his room. Seeing that it was locked from the inside, he knocked it twice.

A bubbly person having silver blonde colored hair and chocolate brown eyes opened the door with a cheerful smile,

"Welcome, roomie."

Song Xiao Bo was shocked to see the person, he stepped back and hid behind Wei Chen and peeked at him in surprise.

The person was also shocked to see two people in front of him cause he was just expecting his new roommate but there were two...

Wei Chen shook his head thinking that his younger brother got scared seeing a new person, he grabbed his hand and made him stand beside him.

"He is Song Xiao Bo, your roommate. He is too shy and gets scared easily so please take care of him."

The person's eyes widened and a small smile spread through his lips.

"Aww, so cute. Xiao Bo, can I call you Xiao Xiao? Come inside, I was waiting for you all day."

When Wei Chen was about to get inside along with the younger he pulled him back and shook his head.

"Can I not stay in this room?" Xiao Bo asked showing his puppy eyes.

"Bo Bo!"

Wei Chen narrowed his eyes, he would call him 'BoBo' whenever the younger did something naughty or didn't listen to him.

"Please, Dage, Mm?"

Xiao Bo stomped his feet on the floor continuously and refused to go inside.

"No, he seems like a nice person and why are you scared? You just met him for the first time today. Tell me one good reason why you don't want to live in this room?" Wei Chen questioned.
