Chapter 117: A Bit Simple

The LAPD would never really let someone get lynched from a streetlight right before their eyes.

In an effort to save people, the LAPD eventually clashed with the mob once again.

At least, Director Thomson had authorized the use of police gear.

Finally, after more backup arrived, the riot in front of the Kovo Building was barely suppressed.

Many items inside the Kovo Building had been carried out, the crowd was dispersed, but the entire first floor of the Kovo Building was smashed beyond recognition.

The upper floors too, as if everyone knew there were valuable things there. Some carried out coffee makers, bread makers, even people running out with TV sets in their arms.

Of course, most importantly, they discovered that Toran Kovo, the man they were looking for, was not there.

And yet, the LAPD's reputation had plummeted, and what was outrageous was that the mainstream media, which had been silent about the human testing scandal, all of a sudden jumped out.
