David's brow furrowed, and he stared coldly at the blond young man, saying sharply, "Gordon, I hope you know who you're talking to."

He was very displeased. As the leader of the team, the young man's attitude made him feel challenged.

Gordon couldn't help but stand up abruptly, glaring at David.

Among this group, were all leading figures in the medical community, none of whom yielded to the others. David being appointed as their team leader had already been a great dissatisfaction to Gordon, and now, hearing David bring up his status to make a point, Gordon exploded.

"David, don't think that just because you're our team leader, I should listen to you. None of the people here are inferior to you. You have no right to order anyone around," Gordon said indignantly.

David was also angered. As the leader, repeatedly provoked, even the most temperate person would not be able to tolerate it.
