Shen Hao could feel it—an indistinct but incredibly unique gaze fixed upon him.
Even though it was merely a gaze, it seemed to possess a special kind of Law Power.
Clearly, beings like Innate God Spirits were not made of flesh and blood. Saying they were manifestations of the Laws would be far more appropriate.
"How do you feel?" Shen Hao asked calmly, unfazed by the girl's actions. Most newly recruited Contractors needed some time to adjust and integrate.
"I cannot find your death," the Death God girl said slowly, her voice youthful and crisp, devoid of any melancholic tone—there was even a trace of joy.
"To you, not being able to find my death is a good thing?" Shen Hao asked curiously.
"Death is my servant, my Favoured, not the other way around," the Death God girl nodded and chuckled lightly. "I enjoy interacting with those invisible to death."
As she spoke the last sentence, her gaze seemed to sparkle faintly, almost like starlight.
