Boom!
"Hit!"
The last cruiser erupted in intense sparks, a phenomenon that occurred when the electromagnetic gun hit at too small an angle.
The bullet friction with the hull created high temperatures, causing the steel to melt and scatter, while the trajectory and kinetic energy of the projectile were also affected.
A normal bullet would hardly cause significant damage to the ship at this stage, but the Rattlesnake Electromagnetic Cannon was different.
The sparks that arose were mostly due to the melting of the hull from the high temperatures; these armors were penetrated before they could deform to deflect the projectile, and even at a small angle, the electromagnetic bullets would penetrate the hull.
Sure enough, as the sparks fell and the black smoke lightened, the hull was punctured by the bullet, leaving a huge gap through which the fiery internal structure could be seen.
