Bobby had worked hard to rank first at the genius summit; he couldn't believe that he'd gotten mixed up in this predicament. Steven, his partner, had teamed up with the Sierra family. The purpose of Alice's invitation to her house was to stall Bobby and give the Elder from the Sierra family, Steve, and Steve's partner enough time to set up their plan. If Bobby had died that night, the facility most likely wouldn't have taken action to find the culprit. After all, a deceased recruit from the facility's branches wouldn't be worth the time and resources required to conduct an investigation.

"Relax, Bobby," Hubert said. "As long as I'm here, no one will be able to frame you for their deaths."

"Thank you for your help, Mr. Mels," Bobby said with gratitude. Truthfully, Bobby knew that if he hadn't received Hubert's help, the situation wouldn't be as simple as a confinement order.
