Last Man Standing

Bobby was the only one left in the entire trial. There was no one else who had reached this step in the past thousand years.

After inspecting the ocean of vines for a while, Bobby confirmed that Noah must have been expelled from the trial. He sighed in his heart. Noah was a powerful, worthy opponent, but he had exited due to this.

The culprit was staring at him smugly through cunning black eyes.

"Okay, now you need to be good."

Bobby glanced at the mischievous cat. He could already imagine Noah telling the elders how he was tricked into failure.

Noah might be arrogant and emotionless, but would he easily let go after being tricked to such a degree?

The little cat nodded its head, meaning that it wouldn't cause trouble anymore. It then yawned while sitting on Bobby's shoulder.

Bobby returned to the vault in the castle.

"There's less than ten days left."
