Because of Bobby's left eye, the marrow cleansing pill's effects were much better than he had expected. When a cultivator ingested a marrow cleansing pill, they would usually give off a layer of black sticky fluid. Instead of one layer, Bobby had three. Bobby was certain that his left eye and the marrow cleansing pill had similar abilities; both of them could improve his attributes. The difference was that Bobby's left eye could only improve his attributes over time, while the marrow cleansing pill achieved this immediately. His left eye had merged with the marrow cleansing pill, and his attributes had improved much better than if he'd taken the pill without the abilities of his left eye. The first layer of the sticky liquid gave off a foul odor, but the smell of the subsequent two layers were less apparent.
