"Gentlemen, by law, Beast Tamers may take their pets inside the city. In any world, regardless of how strict the policies were, there were always people to whom the rules did not apply. Those of the True Lord rank could ride into the city with their pets, and no one could stop them, rules be damned. Beast Tamers were also considered a special group because there were so few of them in the Great Canopy Country. Because they traveled with all sorts of beasts, exceptions for these animals had to be made."

"A Beast Tamer?" The lead guard of the half-step True Spirit Realm was looking at Bobby suspiciously. The other guards looked just as incredulous. The Flooded Lake City was enormous, and there were already Beast Tamers within the city that were well-known to the guards. But the blue-haired boy in front of them looked troublesome.
