Double Challenges

"There's no time for that," Bobby said grimly. "We've got company."

Hearing this, Sebastian, Keith, and Sarah turned pale. Who did he sense that would force him to interrupt his cultivation? Bobby disappeared, leaving behind a trail of light.

"Just look at him," Keith exclaimed, his mouth wide open in astonishment.

"His speed is astounding," Sebastian said. "I bet his mental energy attacks are very powerful too."

They followed Bobby, who was already outside the cave. He floated above the river and looked to the west. Soon, a golden dragon with a terrifying aura emerged from the surrounding forest.

"If we can sense the aura from here, it must mean an apex prodigy is approaching," Sebastian observed, his heart beginning to pound, but he tried to reassure himself that they would also have a near-apex level prodigy with them.

Bobby floated in the air and waited. The aura became more robust, and suddenly two golden auras were racing toward them.
