The ordinary yet not so ordinary detective, Wen Wen, woke up in a mental hospital and discovered that his right hand was connected to a mysterious space called the 'Catastrophe Containment Facility,' from which he could acquire the powers of the monsters imprisoned within!
By capturing a vampire, he gained a formidable physique;
By capturing a ghost, he could turn invisible and pass through walls;
By capturing a fox spirit, he could charm the opposite sex...
In short, in order to obtain more powerful abilities, Wen Wen began to diligently capture monsters, thereby stepping into the strange world of superpowers and seeing the hidden truths behind the curtain...

Catastrophe Containment Facility

Two days ago, a chat pop-up suddenly appeared online. The person on the other end told him that they would make his job more interesting.


At first, he thought he'd been targeted by the cyber police and nearly took off. But later he found out the person's skills far surpassed his, and they bore him no malice.


Over the past couple of days, he occasionally chatted with that person. Song Lianqing even found them quite intriguing and considered turning them into a downstream, offering three cents per comment…


But their exchanges were limited to casual chats because Song Lianqing was somewhat afraid of that person.


Conversing with that person made Song Lianqing feel like he was being watched, and the little tidbits the person let slip seemed almost inhuman.


So, Song Lianqing didn't dare to engage in any deeper conversation with them.


Suddenly, a knock came at his door. It was Wen Wen.


"Who is it?" Song Lianqing asked irritably.


"Water meter checker," Wen Wen casually replied.
