The ordinary yet not so ordinary detective, Wen Wen, woke up in a mental hospital and discovered that his right hand was connected to a mysterious space called the 'Catastrophe Containment Facility,' from which he could acquire the powers of the monsters imprisoned within!
By capturing a vampire, he gained a formidable physique;
By capturing a ghost, he could turn invisible and pass through walls;
By capturing a fox spirit, he could charm the opposite sex...
In short, in order to obtain more powerful abilities, Wen Wen began to diligently capture monsters, thereby stepping into the strange world of superpowers and seeing the hidden truths behind the curtain...

Catastrophe Containment Facility

Amidst the crisis, Wen Wen's right hand turned entirely black, his strength surged, and he forcefully blocked the blue light while ignoring the interference of the tentacles.


The blue energy attack, like cooking grease being sucked away by a range hood, was completely absorbed by his arm.


Lin Zheyuan raised an eyebrow. He hadn't unleashed his full power to avoid harming Wen Wen, but the fact that Wen Wen could absorb the entire attack exceeded his expectations.


Then, Wen Wen's left hand began to emit blue light, and a powerful stream of energy chaotically shot out from between his fingers, accurately striking the tentacles wrapped around him.


The tenacious tentacles, stimulated by the homogenous energy, softened en masse, allowing Wen Wen to easily free himself from their grasp.


Lin Zheyuan licked his lips, eyes shining as he looked at Wen Wen, "Absorbing and releasing energy, is that the ability you gained from the Assimilation Realm? This ability is quite impressive."
