By capturing a vampire, he gained a formidable physique;
By capturing a ghost, he could turn invisible and pass through walls;
By capturing a fox spirit, he could charm the opposite sex...
In short, in order to obtain more powerful abilities, Wen Wen began to diligently capture monsters, thereby stepping into the strange world of superpowers and seeing the hidden truths behind the curtain...

Catastrophe Containment Facility

Gu Panxi looked somewhat stunned at the man in front of her, whose voice overflowed with a cheap aura that only Wen Wen could produce among the people she knew.


In her memory, Wen Wen was not some strong Assimilation Mid-Sequence warrior but just an ordinary Demon Hunter in the city. Why was he here?


"Do you not recognize me so soon? You're still dressed so unconventionally. You really are a cross-dresser," Wen Wen turned his head, squinting as he sized up Gu Panxi.


Having shed her Holy Crystal Angel state, Gu Panxi wore a green vest and safety shorts covered by a large robe woven from green leaves, though now that robe had turned into tattered leaves.


To call her a cross-dresser might be an exaggeration, but Gu Panxi indeed liked wearing oddly unusual clothes.


She wore a nurse's uniform to the hospital, a police uniform to the police department, and had made herself a rather 'natural' outfit for the forest.
