The ordinary yet not so ordinary detective, Wen Wen, woke up in a mental hospital and discovered that his right hand was connected to a mysterious space called the 'Catastrophe Containment Facility,' from which he could acquire the powers of the monsters imprisoned within!
By capturing a vampire, he gained a formidable physique;
By capturing a ghost, he could turn invisible and pass through walls;
By capturing a fox spirit, he could charm the opposite sex...
In short, in order to obtain more powerful abilities, Wen Wen began to diligently capture monsters, thereby stepping into the strange world of superpowers and seeing the hidden truths behind the curtain...

Catastrophe Containment Facility

Half an hour later, Zheng Daqian nodded to Wen Wen before soaring into the sky, gradually disappearing from Wen Wen's sight.


Wen Wen used his Custodian Badge to sense the surroundings and found that Zheng Daqian had indeed left and was no longer watching him, so he let out a long sigh of relief.


He and Zheng Daqian had discussed many things, and the final results satisfied both parties.


Zheng Daqian promised that aside from a few individuals, no one would know Wen Wen's identity, and Wen Wen could continue to stay within the Hunter Association as a Ranger.


Apart from special events, the Association would not issue any forced commands to Wen Wen, and as long as he didn't violate the core rules of the Ranger code, no Ranger would investigate him.


What Wen Wen needed to do was to act as a 'Black Cross' and Hunter Association liaison, and he had to ensure that the Association was at least informed of the Black Cross's major actions.
